How much does it cost to demolish a house in Central Florida?
Most residential demolitions in Central Florida run between $8,000 and $20,000 depending on the size of the structure, the foundation type, and how much material needs to be hauled off. Single-story homes on the lower end, two-story or larger structures on the higher end. Do you handle the demolition permits?
Yes. We handle permitting as part of the job so you don't have to chase down the county yourself. Every demolition in Florida requires a permit, and we take care of pulling it, scheduling the utility disconnects, and meeting any county inspection requirements. When we're done, the site is clean and the paperwork is closed out.
How long does a house demolition take?
Most single-family homes are down, crushed, and hauled off in one to three days once we're on-site. Larger or more complex structures can take a few days more. Permitting and utility disconnect scheduling is the part that takes the most calendar time — that's usually two to four weeks before we can start swinging. Once we start, we move fast.
